Picadeiro d'Arrábida is located in a territory of excellence, the Setúbal Peninsula, bordered by the Atlantic Ocean and the Tagus and Sado rivers, where the mountain landscape blends with the purity of the water.

The mission of the Centro Equestre Picadeiro d'Arrábida is to contribute to the philosophy of mutual respect between rider and horse, understanding the weaknesses and strengths of each participant, and together enjoying the same experience with positive energy.

The focus on a distinguished and experienced team makes a difference in the development of both rider and horse.

The lessons are designed to develop an interest in the activity, supported by the training criteria of the Portuguese Equestrian Federation. The activities and services are oriented towards a quality experience and can be customized according to the needs of each member.

We have created a Club House so that members can enjoy the space with full comfort and join thematic programs that combine horses, nature, wine, and gastronomy.

Club House

The Club House at Picadeiro d'Arrábida is a place of union and conviviality, of sharing and relaxation, it is also the reception for equestrian activities.

Restaurant service is taken care of. It stands out for the refinement that the environment of the surrounding landscape brings to its members, elements that are aggregators and conviviality.

Meals are one of the most common moments of socialization and serve as a meeting point for resident riders and passers-by, whether tourists or guests.

Membership in the club provides opportunities and discounts on various equestrian services.

Accommodation for horses

Our Stables

We have two types of stables: the Main Stables and the Bougainvillea Courtyard Stables.

All boxes have a minimum size of 4x3.5m, with stainless steel drinkers and hygienic mangers.

The flooring is designed to ensure effective drainage, providing the horse with well-being.

We ensure 24-hour surveillance with the installation of security cameras.

The bedding is made of shavings and sawdust, cleaned daily, both in the morning and afternoon. The hay is carefully selected.

Type of accommodation

Monthly rental

The rental of the boxes can be one-off or monthly. The monthly rental of each stall implies joining the CEPA, as well as associated insurance: horse, rider and civil liability.

All horses have a technical sheet with the main information and recommendations, thus avoiding doubts in the absence of the owner.
